 The Kentfield fire department - firefighters, trucks, hoses and ladders - is planning to move next door to Ross during a $2.5 million remodel and expansion of its firehouse.

Construction is scheduled to start in March and the job could take eight to 10 months.  Read about the construction project in the Independent Journal.

The Kentfield Fire Protection District has taken delivery of a new State of California Office of Emergency Services (OES) fire engine, OES Engine 325.   This is the fourth state engine Kentfield has had in the past 35 years.
