Community Planting Day

November 21.  10:00 a.m.

Novato Fire District is completing the installation of a community demonstration garden at Fire Station 3 on San Ramon Way.  The garden replaces the existing lawn with a garden demonstrating low water use and fire resistant plants and landscape material.  Please join us for a Community Planting Day at Fire Station 3.

 

  Stations

The Novato Fire Protection District currently maintains five strategically placed Fire Stations.

Administration - 95 Rowland Way

The Administrative Offices are located on the east side of Highway 101. All Administrative staff is located at this site, including the Office of the Fire Chief, Marc Revere.


Fire Station 1 – 7025 Redwood Blvd.


Station 1’s primary emergency response zone is the Downtown Novato area. Units from this station also respond as second due units to incidents in the remainder of the District.

Current staff at station 1 includes:
1-3 Person Type I Paramedic Engine Company
1 - 3 Person Truck Company
1 - 2 Person ALS Paramedic Ambulance
1 - Battalion Chief
*Personnel at Station 1 also staff, as needed a Type III Engine, Water Tender and Heavy Rescue Squad


Fire Station 2 - 450 Atherton Ave.


Station 2’s primary emergency response zone is the east of Hwy 101 and North of Hwy 37. Units from this station also respond as second due units to incidents in Station 1 and 4’s zones.

Station 2 houses the Mechanics operations, the Training Tower and Training  Classroom, and serves as the Urban Search and Rescue Training grounds.

Current staff at station 2 includes:
1-3 Person Type I Paramedic Engine Company
*Personnel at Station 2 also staff an ALS Paramedic Ambulance and Rescue Boat.


Fire Station 3 - 65 San Ramon Way


Station 3’s primary emergency response zone is west of Simmons Lane and Wilson Blvd. Units from this station also respond as second due to incidents in Station 1’s zone.

Current staff at station 3 includes:
1-3 Person Type I Paramedic Engine Company
Personnel at Station 3 also staff a Type III engine and a ALS Paramedic Ambulance


Fire Station 4 - 319 Enfrente Drive
 

Station 4’s primary emergency response zone is the area south of Hwy 37 and Novato Blvd. Units from this station also respond as second due units to incidents in Station 1 and 2’s zone.

Current staff at station 4 includes:
3 Person Type I Paramedic Engine Company
1 - 2 Person ALS Paramedic Ambulance


Fire Station 5 - 5 Bolling Dr.

The Novato Fire District constructed a 5th fire station in the Hamilton Area in 2004. The station is located at 5 Bolling Dr.  The station is staffed with a 3 – Person Type I Paramedic Engine Company who will also staff a ALS Paramedic Ambulance. Response times in the southern area of the District are greatly improved with addition of this fire station.

Station 5 provides quarters for the Tam Fire Crew during Fire Season.
